Terms of Service

1. The BuyOnLink Service

BuyOnLink provides hosted software infrastructure allowing merchants to build, customize, and run independent e-commerce storefronts, accept customer payments via integrated payment processors (e.g. Razorpay), and connect courier logistics providers (e.g. Shiprocket, Delhivery).

BuyOnLink is not an auction house, marketplace reseller, or consignment vendor. The commercial contract for the purchase and delivery of physical products sold on your storefront is strictly between you (the merchant) and your customer.

2. 0% Platform Commission Guarantee & Subscriptions

• Zero Transaction Surcharges: BuyOnLink imposes 0% platform commission on your gross merchandise value (GMV).
• Payment Processor Fees: Standard third-party payment gateway transaction fees (such as standard ~2% for domestic card/netbanking transactions or 0% for UPI) are deducted directly by the processor.
• Subscription Plans: Paid subscription plans (Classic, Premium, Business) are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual cycle. All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are exclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST). (Please note: we are not GST registered yet).

3. Merchant Responsibilities & Consumer Protection

As a merchant operating in India, you agree to comply with all applicable e-commerce and consumer regulations, including the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020:

• Displaying accurate product descriptions, MRP, selling price, country of origin, and expiry dates where applicable.
• Providing genuine contact and customer care information (email, phone, grievance officer details) on your storefront.
• Fulfilling paid customer orders within promised delivery timelines and honoring published store refund policies.

4. Prohibited Items & Activities

You may not use BuyOnLink to sell or distribute goods that violate Indian laws or international restrictions, including but not limited to:

• Counterfeit, trademark-infringing, or replica luxury goods.
• Illegal drugs, narcotics, prescription medicines without valid licenses.
• Weapons, ammunition, fireworks, or hazardous explosive materials.
• Adult or explicit pornographic content.
• Financial schemes, multi-level marketing (MLM), or pyramid structures.

Accounts found offering prohibited items are subject to immediate, permanent termination without prior notice or refund.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content: You retain 100% ownership over all trademarks, logos, photographs, brand names, and product descriptions you upload to your storefront. You grant BuyOnLink a limited, non-exclusive license solely to display and host your content across our edge infrastructure.

Our Platform: BuyOnLink, its underlying source code, themes, software engines, design systems, and trademarks are the exclusive intellectual property of Twice Scale.

6. Service Availability & Uptime

We strive to maintain a 99.9% uptime target across our CDN edge and merchant admin console. While rare maintenance windows or third-party telecom outages may occur, we continuously deploy redundant infrastructure to guarantee high availability.

7. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Twice Scale shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data loss, or customer disputes arising from merchant operations.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
